Este galardão é um enorme presente para a dedicação dos engenheiros da Nissan – parte integrante da equipa técnica da marca japonesa – sediados no continente europeu.
O júri especializado confirmou que o Ariya venceu este prémio devido à sua praticidade, inúmeras características técnicas e tecnológicas e, acima de tudo, por se destacar por ser um modelo que assinala que a condução EV é uma opção cada vez mais válida no atual mercado automóvel. De acordo com a Nissan, este é o seu segundo modelo EV de produção em massa e nasceu com o propósito de tornar a condução EV acessível. Nesta aclamada entrega de prémios, foram também galardoados o Fiat 500, o Renault Megane E-Tech elétrico, o novo Range Rover, entre outros.
